Overview

How it works on your site

Security should not depend on the availability of an electrical connection. Aarve Solar CCTV combines solar power with modern surveillance technology to provide monitoring in locations where conventional power infrastructure is unavailable, unreliable or difficult to install.

The system can be configured for continuous surveillance, remote monitoring and site-specific security requirements, making it ideal for open areas and geographically isolated properties.

For compounds we install triple-lens units and cameras integrated into the street light itself, so one pole lights the road and watches it. For perimeters, the long-distance unit covers up to two kilometres at 36× optical zoom.

Before we install

What your site needs

Our engineer checks all of this during the free survey. Nothing here has to be ready before you call us.

  1. 1Daily sun on the panelThe camera's own panel needs four to six hours of direct sun a day.
  2. 2Mobile or Wi-Fi signalA strong 4G signal or Wi-Fi at the site, for live viewing on your phone.
  3. 3Firm pole or wallMounted eight to twelve feet up on something solid, so it neither shakes nor invites tampering.
  4. 4Somewhere to recordA micro SD card in the camera, or cloud storage switched on, to keep the footage.
  5. 5Clear line of sightAn unobstructed view within twenty-five to thirty feet, so motion detection picks up people reliably.
