Terms and conditions

The basis on which we supply and install our systems, and on which this website may be used.

Last updated 11 August 2026

1. About these terms

This website is operated by Aarve Solar Private Limited (“Aarve Solar”, “we”, “us”), part of the Aarve Group, with its corporate office in Bengaluru and its registered office in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

By using this website, requesting a site survey or accepting a quotation from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or engage our services.

    2. Using this website

You may browse the site, download our brochures and contact us about our products for your own or your organisation's purposes.

You may not copy, republish or resell any part of this site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in any way that interferes with its operation or with another person's use of it.

      3. Information on this site is indicative

We take care to keep product specifications, capacities and descriptions accurate, but they are provided for general guidance. Manufacturers revise their models, and the equipment finally supplied may differ in detail from what is shown here.

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. A binding agreement arises only when we issue a written quotation for your site and you accept it.

        4. The savings calculator

The savings calculator on this website produces an illustration, not a guarantee, and no financial or investment advice is intended or given by it.

It works from a small number of assumptions — an average tariff, typical generation for the region, and standard system costs — and it cannot know your roof, your shading, your consumption pattern, your DISCOM's tariff structure or the subsidy you will actually be sanctioned.

Real figures come from a site survey and the written quotation that follows it. Please do not rely on the calculator alone when making a purchasing decision.

          5. Site surveys and quotations

A site survey lets us assess the roof or land, the shading, the existing electrical connection and the route for cabling. Any figure given before a survey is a preliminary estimate.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Where a price depends on the exchange rate, on module or inverter prices, or on statutory duties and taxes, we may revise it if those change materially before you accept.

            6. Government subsidy

Subsidy under PM Surya Ghar and comparable state schemes is granted by the government, not by us. We will help you with the application and the paperwork, and we install using empanelled equipment where a scheme requires it.

Whether you are eligible, how much you are sanctioned and when the amount is disbursed are decided by the implementing agency and your electricity distribution company. We cannot guarantee any of them, and a quotation is not conditional on a subsidy being received unless we say so in writing.

              7. Approvals and net metering

Grid-connected systems need approval from your electricity distribution company, and net metering needs a meter to be sanctioned and installed by them.

We prepare and submit the applications, but the timelines belong to the DISCOM. Delays in their approval, inspection or meter installation are outside our control and do not amount to a delay on our part.

                8. What we need from you

Where a delay is caused by any of the above, or by weather, strikes, or restrictions imposed by an authority, the installation schedule moves accordingly.

                • Safe and reasonable access to the site on the agreed dates, including access to the roof.
                • A roof or structure that is sound enough to carry the system. If a survey shows civil or structural work is needed first, that work is yours to arrange unless we have quoted for it.
                • An electrical supply and earthing that meet the requirements set out in our proposal.
                • Accurate documents for subsidy and net metering applications — identity, ownership and your existing electricity bill.
                • Prompt decisions where the work cannot continue without one.

                9. Payment

Payment terms, including any advance, are set out in the quotation. Taxes are charged at the rates applicable on the date of invoice.

Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full. We may suspend work on a site where an amount is overdue.

                  10. Warranties

Solar modules, inverters, pumps, batteries, cameras and other equipment carry the warranties of their manufacturers. We pass those warranties on to you in full and will help you make a claim, but we do not extend them and we cannot honour them on a manufacturer's behalf.

Our own workmanship — mounting, wiring, earthing and commissioning — is warranted for one year from the date of commissioning.

                  • Damage from lightning, flooding, storms, fire, theft or vandalism is not covered.
                  • Nor is damage from unauthorised modification, or repair by anyone we have not appointed.
                  • Nor is a shortfall in generation caused by shading that appears after installation, such as a new building or a grown tree.
                  • Routine cleaning and maintenance are the owner's responsibility unless a service contract says otherwise.

                  11. Generation estimates

Any generation figure we give — in kWh, in units per day, or as a saving — is an estimate based on typical irradiance for the location and on standard test conditions for the equipment.

Actual output varies with weather, dust, ambient temperature, shading and grid availability. An estimate is not a performance guarantee unless it is given as one, in writing, in the contract.

                    12. Cancellation

If you cancel after accepting a quotation but before we have ordered materials or begun work, we will refund what you have paid, less any survey or design cost already incurred.

Once equipment has been ordered against your project or work has started on site, the costs already committed become payable. Equipment ordered to your specification cannot be returned.

                      13. Our liability

We are liable for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss that is not foreseeable, nor for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of anticipated savings.

Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount you have paid us for that project.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

                        14. Enquiries and your information

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, phone number and the details you give us about your site, and we use them only to contact you about your enquiry and to prepare a proposal.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with people who need it to serve your enquiry — for example an installation partner working on your site, or a government portal where you have asked us to file a subsidy application on your behalf.

                          15. Content on this site

The text, photographs, drawings, logos and layout of this website belong to Aarve Solar or to our suppliers, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Manufacturer names and logos shown here belong to their respective owners and appear only to identify the equipment we install.

Photographs of completed installations are of our own work and are published with the permission of the site owners where required.

                            16. Links to other sites

Where we link to a manufacturer's site, a government portal or another third party, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

                              17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies. Changes do not affect a contract already agreed with you.

                                18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
